Call for Artists
Hosted by Banditto Art, The Banditto Residency Program is a celebration of excellence in art from across the globe.
Semi-annually we offer artists from all over the world the opportunity to join us for a ten-day residency in our gallery situated in Tuscany, Italy.
In our Galleria in Montefollonico the artist has the exclusive opportunity to let their creative juices flow in the most picturesque of environments.
In addition, these artists get the chance to showcase their work to a broader audience, and further their engagement with the international art world.

Montefollonico, Tuscany
Incredible landscapes, narrow and winding alleys and rustic houses characterize this town, and make it an authentic and genuine Tuscan glimpse. Positioned perfectly among the most beautiful valleys and spaces Tuscany has to offer - Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino, we have chosen this area to transform an exquisite 12th Century Medieval, three-story building into a private Galleria/studio. We simply call it ‘heaven’.
“Liberality, warmth, silence, vastness, honesty, purity. That is what I found at Banditto Residency, and that is what I was able to bring into my work. I am more than grateful for this!”
Lenia Hauser (Germany)

For this reason we require a processing fee which will only serve to cover the administrative expenses of the selection of candidates and the organization of the residency resources.

Definitely not. The artist selected for our residency will have all their transportation, flight, accommodation as well as some meal costs covered.

It is important to note that the artists and collectors we have chosen to feature on our blog page or other pages, are in no way to be personally or directly contacted regarding the Banditto Residency Prize as this could jeopardize the validity of your entry. Any attempt to make contact with a featured artist or collector/curator by any entrant or invitee, will be viewed as an attempt to sway the votes and gain an unfair advantage.
