ARTIST RESIDENCY TUSCANY

Are you an emerging artist looking to help launch your career on the international art scene?

Being an artist isn't easy. Emerging talents and creatives are tasked with interpreting the world, drawing on personal experiences with hopes of making a lasting public impression. Sometimes that requires a change of scenery, a different perspective, or a moment alone.

To that end, and in our endeavour to expand horizons of art and emerging artists, we developed our unique Residency Program. Think of this exceptional artist-in-residency opportunity as a vacation with benefits for envelope-pushing artists of all disciplines. This program affords these artists the opportunity to come and create work in our quaint private Galleria, situated in the heart of one of the most picturesque towns in Tuscany.

We have organized this program because we are interested in finding upcoming talent from all over the world. We have therefore specifically kept the application fee as low as possible, so to provide equal exposure opportunities to emerging artists regardless of their current situation and what representation they may or may not have.

Due to the fact that our Galleria has developed an exclusive relationship with several world renowned collectors, we are able to provide them with a first glance of the various unique pieces created by these artists during their stay. This further affords the artist an opportunity to sell their work after their residency.

The Judging Panel enhances its position in the industry, bringing together specialists from leading cultural institutions, as well as some of the most influential art experts of our time.

The Banditto Residency Program attracts hundreds of entries in a range of innovative media from locations as diverse as France, Germany, Russia, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA.
